4 Ways to Get Your Greens

We are green. We #bleedgreen. So, there’s no better day to celebrate our fixation with the color green than today, St. Patrick’s day! With the entire city decked out in green, we are reminded about all the great things that are green. Call us crazy, or maybe a bit obsessed, but everyone benefits from the green things in life.

Besides the fact that it makes for the perfect towel color, green plays an important role in creating the ideal environment for getting fit. Our signature green walls and accenting allow FHIXers to immediately feel a sense of calm and balance when they enter TFR. The entire FHIX experience is much more than a 50-minute HIIT session. A successful FHIX is one that begins when a FHIXer is able to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and completely abandon any stress, intimidation, or negative thoughts.

Green Tea:
Green tea is a great alternative to coffee for getting your morning caffeine FHIX. With less caffeine than coffee, it’s full of healthy antioxidants and some studies even link green tea to greater fat loss! Green Peppers:
Full of Vitamin C, fiber, Vitamin A and potassium and water? Yes, please!

Avocado:
Avocado is one of our favorite green foods not only for the health beneFHITs, but also for the beauty beneFHITs! We love to eat avocado because of the healthy fats they provide which give us energy for a FHIX. We also love to use avocado as a face mask because the oils nourish the skin and reduce inflammation, leaving it glowing and fresh! Green Juices:
We all know how hard it can be to reach the recommended daily intake of veggies on a regular basis. That’s why we love green juices! We asked our green-juice-enthusiast instructors Amanda, Eric and Jason, about their favorite green concoctions.
