Miriam was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Brooklyn. She fell in love with movement through sports at a young age, and has played Junior Olympic Volleyball and College Softball. Miriam earned her M.S. in Exercise Science with a specialty in Cardiac Rehab from Brooklyn College. Miriam’s greatest passion is building community through movement and fitness. She believes fitness should be challenging yet scalable, but most importantly functional and fun. Miriam is an avid runner and has completed 3 marathons.
Miriam had a stint as a Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab Professor at her alma mater, Brooklyn College.
