The beans, potatoes and everything else inside this burrito provide 12 grams of protein per serving. An average whole-wheat wrap contains 6-8 grams of protein. Add that together and this burrito has about 20 grams of protein! Want even more? Some wraps are high-protein and contain up to 28 grams of protein per wrap. That’s 40 grams total. HOLY BURRITO! Even at your hungriest moments, this bowl will leave you feeling satisfied and then some. The hummus recipe included is so delicious and we highly advise you make it! If you’re short on time you can substitute it with store-bought hummus. Asparagus, arugula and tomatoes provide a generous serving of veggies, while chickpeas, white-bean hummus and polenta power you up with 17 grams of protein and a serving of complex carbs. Vegetarians get a lot of grief over their protein intake. This patty is vegan and provides 11 grams of protein through lentils, quinoa, beans and nuts. Take that vegan-shamers! Add a whole-wheat bun and we’re talking 18 grams of protein per burger. You can make your own high-protein buns too if you want to amp up the protein even more. Get the recipe here!
